I had a feeling bad financial news was coming my way.

I had a hose break near my water pump and timing belt. This is a $800-1000 repair right when I can least afford it.
I need this car - I can NOT afford to buy a new car this close to my surgery.

The above article is an update. Her mother went to appeal to keep her out of the psychiatric ward and lost. She will be institutionalized because of her expression of her gender. She will be held until she conforms to male gender and then released to foster care, not her mother who was supporting her.

Thoughts on the afterlife?
I believe that there is some sort of afterlife. That is all.
Seriously. What happens then is not in my control. I try to lead a good, spiritual life that pleases the earth, the many gods and goddesses and myself. I try to be good to the people around me try to be happy. I focus on life right now, what I can change. Not life after death, which is far beyond any control I have.
Or so I think.
A favourite pagan holiday that you celebrate.
This is going to be hard to answer. I don’t really practice any sort of ceremonial or ritual magick. I do not observe the wheel of the year or worship THE God or THE Goddess.
I do recognize and celebrate the Solstices and Equinoxes. I am very simple in my worship of the Earth, Gods and Goddesses. I may light a candle give up an offering, sit outside, meditate. I don’t cast a circle or anything like that. My altar is more or less non-existent, pretty much just where I keep my magical things.
So the short of it is, I do not have a favourite holiday. I am more partial to the Spring and Autumn Equinox though.
What are some of the witchy books that influenced you?
Ooh man. Well right now I am reading “Grimoire for the Green Witch: A Complete Book of Shadows.” by Anne Moura. It is pretty awesome. But it is an ebook is it is a bit of a pain and not easy to use.
But I have “The tree of Enchantment: Ancient Wisdom and Magic Practices of the Faery Tradition.” By Orion Foxwood. Which I haven’t read through but it is pretty great.
“Wiccan: Beliefs and practices” by Gary Cantrell. Which more or less just served to show me that I do not believe as Wiccans do.
But the most influential is “The Witches Craft” by Raven Grimassi. LOVE it. Even though I am a hard polytheist and she is not. This book just is the book that helped be define my practice.
I also have a ridiculous collection of ebooks. Like over 100 or something. I will keep you updated as I read those.
